When the Nashville Scholars began their online presence in 1997, we ran a series of Significant Sherlockian Interviews / Biographies. Our very first interview was with new editor of The Historic Traveler Magazine, Tom Huntington. His very first issue of the magazine featured a story on "The London of Sherlock Holmes." We knew we had to interview Mr. Huntington. Since those days we've published email and taped interviews with many of the prominent and active Sherlock Holmes leaders in the US, Cananda, and England. Those early interviews/biographies will have the ~Original Collection~ graphic you see above. Refer back to this page for more interviews. Below is the complete list of Sherlockians from the Original Collection.
Tom Huntington | John Bennett Shaw | David Hammer | Joel & Carolyn Senter | Christopher Redmond | Donald Izban
| Paul Smedegaard | David Stuart Davies (note: not all are available just yet. 04/01/2009)

Beginning with our new website for the 30th Anniversary of the Nashville Scholars, we present a new collection of interviews with Significant Sherlockians. These ladies and gentlemen are not new to the world of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Sherlock Holmes, nor are they recently "significant." We had just not conducted interviews for several years, and felt it was time to "update" our list, since there are so many truly significant people writing, collecting, and editing new publications on our favorite character, Sherlock Holmes. We begin this banner year for the Nashville Scholars with the man who is encouraging a new generation of Holmes fanatics:
Leslie Klinger, editor of the New Annotated Sherlock Holmes.
